I HATE Turquoise! Aaargh!! I ALWAYS reduce it to that gross orangy poo shade! Certainly my colour from hell

T'isn't as bad in stringer form though I guess!

CIM Pink Champagne. Looks stunning, so expensive, then fizzes and is a bloomin let down! I found both Sepias OK, but the blue one wanted to be worked reeeeally cool.

I haven't had a problem with any vetro odds - and I love Striking Terracotta, just bought loads from Morettiglasscanada as it is really cheap there

vetro odds love the colours but very unpredictable over shocking, can you just pop them in the kiln as they are

I hate the thicker rods you sometimes get sent, maybe I clicked on the wrong one.. they need much more nursing, I accidentally got thicker black and turquoise this way and I just accidently did it again with another colour! Might try popping the ends in the kiln though, that's a good tip.

I also don't get on with raku, the frit is ok, the rod is a struggle..

I don't really have a colour from hell yet! I'm still persevering with the silver brown - am gradually getting better results, so I have hope

I like magic and raku now, and I always liked anise white.

Colours I don't want to use again: P&T 100coe mint if unencased. Don't know if it was just me and I haven't tried again, but I got a really weird surface effect - rough and cellophaney and you could flake little thin bits off, which worried me. I'd use it encased because it's a pretty colour.

it can boil, work it cooler, and when warming up, try and keep the end out of the flame - I know it sounds daft, but it works for me! (on both)

Now I am tempted to try striking terracotta. (tongue pink did not appeal to me) Now it sounds more like a colour I would use (seeing it helped too.)

Still thinking about a glass I absolutely hate, is naughty and ukky. The only thing I can think of is 004 clear. Maybe I am not that well travelled unles the glass has CiM in the name.
