Well, lots of boro and a kilt!  ;D

Ian Pearson asked if I'd post these pics from his recent wedding for him, with the text -  CONGRATULATIONS again to Ian and Janice  :)

Leaves  formed the centre part of the theme for the wedding and the wedding
feast  featured  a table decorated with glass wedding favours, menus rolled
and  held  by   a  glass  ring  and  in  the  centre  spotlight was a large
candelabra  consisting  of  many  leaves  of  varying  designs.  The latter
acknowledged Chihuly in design as I could not seal all the leaves on due to
space  and  had  to  tie  branches  on  using fishing line. It brought back
memories  of  seeing  how Dale Chihuly constructed his vast chandeliers for
the  Victoria and Albert Museum. Except of course that he used metal cable!
On  the  morning of the wedding we collected shells from the beach at Brora
near  hotel  where  wedding  was and placed them under candelabra. I made a
horseshoe for the bride, ( Janice) although I had no need for extra luck as
the sun was shining!

Honeymoon  involved  presenting  a  lecture  on  scientific glassblowing at
Edinburgh  College  of  Art.  It is hoped to maybe follow this up with some
training in the future at the College if funding is available. More later

Congratulations Janice and Ian, I don't know which of you is more resplendant. Must admit to liking the blue in the tartan. Maiden name was Douglas and there's lots of blue in that tartan too. The horse shoe for Janice was a brilliant idea.
