My favourite is your's Fiona because it looks exactly the right colour to go with a dress I'm wearing to a wedding tomorrow.

Erm the dots on these are yellow ochre, does that count? lol, tis a lovely colour, makes me think of egg yolk

I love yellow ochre, it is a favourite colour to wear as well as bead, these are just simple tumbled pebbles but I like them.
This is a great thread with some lovely beads.

Here's mine:

yellow ochre base encased in 006 with multicolour frit. I don't think I've ever used it before, and I actually like it now!

There are some fab beads in this colour! Well done!

I dont have any yellow ochre, (which is a surprise really as an artist it is one of the mainstays!) so couldnt join in, and I am amazed at how some of the beads have turned out.

I am slowly building up my colour stock and leaning about all the different colour reactions......so much to learn for a newbie, but I am lovng it!

Am I too late to post a pair of earrings from the newbie beads that I made in October?  These were made with a rod of ochre that a kind friend gave me and my first silvered ivory stringer.
