Fire extinguisher

Lampworking on bulk propane..... Ok - so I know I need a dry powder type Class A, B & C to cover combustible materials, flammable liquid and gaseous fires. But what size do I need to get?

I thought dry powder was not good for gas fires.  A bit like flour spontaniously combusting if it forms fine clouds.  Am I wrong?

I found this info on a number of sites

Class C (gaseous fires, butane, propane, natural gas etc) and electrical fires up to 1000 volts. Refillable and serviceable by any competent fire service engineer. 800g extinguisher is manufactured and independently inspected to BS5423: 1987. 1kg and 2kg extinguishers are manufactured and independently inspected to the new British and European Standard BSEN3: 1996. 391198 ABC 1kg.

Mine is a 1kg powder, from B&Q... just looked for whatever I could use with propane
