I found that glow in the dark power really glows well under UV light. When wandering around my workshop in the dark with a big UV light  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) I found some unusal effects - I found some beads I'd made with Effetre striking red and light amber, each on different beads, which I'd swirled over opaque white. I found these seemed to react quite strongly to UV and glowed as well as Uranium yellow, but the rods themselves didn't react. If you have a UV light it might be worth having a look around your beads and see if there are any suprise glows like this

Anyone else had any experience with this new and exciting glass? Tips and advice welcome

I think there is some info over at Listen Up Kitty but her site is being tweaked at the moment.  I remember her trying a few different glasses, and getting other people on LE to play with them too.  I'm pretty sure it was the same ones you are talking about too.  If you've got any of my Uranium Green frit, that glows like a bugger too!  I love glowy stuff, I've got one of those Ikea cabinets full of Uranium glass ::)  Sad eh?

There's a truly horrible picture of my first glow in the dark bead on the Gallery this week.  I'm glad you say it shows under UV Tan, as my daughter goes to a lot of events where they use it and it will be something new to wear.  I have an idea for Glow in the dark Godesses ....what do you think?

(ooops, sorry, not the Gallery, I meant Colour of the Month)
