Hi guys,

I have connected everything up and i am ready to go except when i put my oxycon on the high pitched beep stays on continuously and it doesnt seem to kick in and make the shudder and the 'breathing' sighs, know what i mean?

Has anyone else had this? i know it has been a year since it has been on but i am DESPERATE to start...air is being sucked in through the side filter and it is being pumped out the bottom but nothing is coming out of the tube at the front and the ball in the pressure guage doesnt move.

Any ideas welcomed

thanks

make sure the lead pushed right in (I was having a total paddy on mine the lead wasnt in properly and was beeping) if still beeping, pick it up about 3 inches off the floor and drop it, sounds drastic but has often worked. Next job would be to call Martin for a bit of advice.

She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

3 inches, ladies??  :o I lift the front about one inch and drop it gently - that normally starts the fan for me  ;D ;D

Oh my goodness me - you are an absolute legend!

thank you so much  - i pulled the lead out and saw that a spider and woven a home all on the inside, so with a little dust and a firm shove back into the socket - ta-da!!

thanks again

Glad you got it sorted Anna, I was doing a demo when I realised the lead wasnt in, I was a bit red faced after  ;D

one of our customers had this - after unpacking they turned it on and called me saying it was defective and just sat there beeping... took a bit of trouble shooting but apparently the husband had run the extension cable all the way out to the studio, but neglected to plug it into the wall!.. ;-)

the give-away is that the warning beeper is battery powered, and will sound continuously even if the oxycon is not plugged in...
