Advice needed regarding regulator

I'm trying to find out if an English regulator fits a French propane bottle?

Hello fabienne.  I live in France but ordered a bulk connector kit (regulator, tubing etc) from the UK.  It didn't fit(!) my french propane bottle.  So after a lot of searching I bought a european adaptor from an UK caravan supplies shop.  It was shipped really quickly and cost about £3 or £5.  It was a while ago so can't remember the name of the shop and I have lost the link....sorry.  It looks so simple  - just a bit of brass but it's essential to get it connected!!  You can probably google 'european gas adaptor' and find one.  I will have another look for the link and if I find it I will post it on here.

I first set up in france with bulk and mum (Jayspangles) bought an adaptor from a caravaning place online for a few pounds. It is a small brass fitting which you screw onto the end of your uk regulator fittings and then you can screw the entire thing onto the european tanks. It is very simple. They are readily available from camping suppliers. PM mum if you are having any probs as she may still have the link.
