Torch angle, flame visibility????

I used to have this problem.  then I moved my work area from in front of a window to the side of it.  I didn't move my work space because of this as I just thought it was one of those things.

I do sometimes have difficulty trying to figure out where I am flame wise but as has already been suggester here I do have a mirror behind the flame now and that I have found very useful.  It stops me peeking over the top of my glasses.

I will say the most important thing about seeing the flame is knowing where not to put your hands!!  (having put my hand through the flame twice.  I have not done this since I moved my work space)

I have my flame quite up right and this, I find, is good for my posture.  (Some thing I noticed from the flame off pictures, I do slouch a lot - though I have stopped doing the kangaroo thing)
