Lots of stunning work on here !! post and run from me, back later on

MadelineBunyan

made these last night. I'm really improving my technique, the first ones I made felt a bit delicate and fragile, these are much more chunky and feel solid.

A post and run.  I will come back later and comment on all the lovelies!
This bead unfortunately broke, ugh!  It slipped out of my hand when I cleaned it, and one of the tiny black dots chipped off.  Just my luck that it landed on the damn dot!

Now be gentle with me, these are my first one which I picked up from Manda's this morning (going back next week for more lovely time with glass, so maybe I can make some partners for some of these and have earrings - bit of a fetish for earrings!).  They are nothing like all these lovelies that are on here, but hopefully in time I will be producing some real beauties  :)  Sorry about the bad picture, need to invest in a proper camera!

jammie

well here they are my first fishies... obviously I need to practice a bit more  ::)  :D :D
these are so much fun to do.

I'm always a bit slack at showing what I'm up to on the forum  ::)  Here are some pieces I've made over the last 10 or so days.  Tree beads go with my daily habitat ....  :)

The bottom of this was out of the flame too long, so I get to keep it!!  Will have to see if I can do something with some wirework to camouflage it and make myself a pendant  ;)

Deesigned Beads

Love the pink!
A new necklace from me.  I made these bell flowers some time ago, and they joined the bowl of sad an lonley beads on my desk.  the sterling silver chain was even more sad ...  I have had it for almost 3 years!  Last night I finally paired the 2 components, and with some of my fine silver (supposed to be used to trail silver on glass) I created this delicate-looking necklace.

Im all excited so want to share, I had a bit of a play yesterday and made a "sculpture" aka a mess lol but this morning I decided to try and make a more structured piece using the same idea and this is what I came up with. Only temporarily strung as it hasnt been annealed and it has rather a number of flaws but im still silly pleased with it lol  ;D ;D

sorry about that Tan ;-)
Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.

Kalorlo

Pretty colours, Pat!
Kay: I love all those sets  :D

I have a bit of a backlog here. I also have some testing posts to put together once I've finished trying out things with my CiM.

I've been hiding all my little squares because a similar one went to a charm swap elsewhere. They're great fun and a very good way to use up little ends of twisties and random murrini. The dotty kalera (I have been making *everything* into kaleras since I got my long and lean - I love it!) is tuxedo with the classic combination of periwinkle, opal yellow and rubino.

CiM mojito and lapis, plus white. The mojito bead with the little flowers on it has reduced and encased silver foil. It's got a mother of pearl sheen that was not photographing, and the transparent beads came out way too yellow with the light shining through them. If it ever gets sunny at the weekend I'll try retaking them in sunlight.

CiM peacock with cobalt stringer, encased and with Kaz murrini and mcd on top. The next one was a great surprise! The dots are messed-about silver brown over sangre with clear on top. I have no idea how each ended up with a slit pupil in the centre! I bet I never manage that again...

CiM ltd ed African Gray, plain and with silver foil, reduced. I love it with the silver foil and it keeps the sheen that CiM rods have before melting.
