I love this song from War of the Worlds, so I am hoping it will inspire some beads for October as there are lots of different themes to work with in it!

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old,
and darker days are drawing near,
the winter winds will be much colder,
now you're not here.
I watch the birds fly south across the autumn sky
and one by one they disappear
I wish that I was flying with them,
now you're not here

like the sun through the trees you came to love me
like a leaf on a breeze you blew away

through autumn's golden gown we used to kick our way
you always loved this time of year
loose fallen leaves lie undisturbed now
cos you're not here

like the sun through the trees you came to love me
like a leaf on a breeze you blew away

a gentle rain falls softly on my weary eyes
as if to hide a lonely tear
my life will be forever autumn
cos you're not here
She's made of real glass. She got real real emotion. But my heart laughs I have that same sweet devotion!

I have not long made these - and they were made with autumn in mind!

Peace with a sepia encasing  - goldstone and sam's triffle frit - yum yum! (it really is a nice frit blend this one!)

Topaz base - can't remember the frit blend (somthine with raku me thinks) and more topaz and goldstone. The green spacers just for the zing!

Great. I feel an I made this one earlier moment coming.  ;D

Me too!  In fact, I think I made this two year's ago.....but it is very autumnal.  I had forgotten all about it until I saw this thread!

Anyway, here it is.......

I had better go and dig it out, and wear it!!
