Finally, I'm managing to get something out of the silver glass!!

Carol

Well these aren't anywhere near the same league as Isabelle, but I had a bash with the Gaia last night, got reasonable results. The pics aren't brilliant, I struggled a bit to get the colours to show up but hopefully you'll get the idea!

Hello people!  So I have been on the torch since February and decided to splash out on a mixed pack of Double Helix from Tuffnells and I am now officially OBSESSED!!  Why didn't someone tell me how addictive this glass is?  Here are my favourites so far (they are thumbnails which should enlarge if clicked...I hope lol!)

I just can't believe what this glass will do even on a Hot Head, amazing, I would love to see other peoples DH beads too....

Here are a couple from me, I have had the most success with Aurae and Ekho. I have had zip success with luna, and I haven't tried triton yet. I'm on a HH too.

So a few more experiments from the weekend: 1st one is Luna, 2nd is Luna & Aion, 3rd is Nyx & Psyche, 4th is Nyx I think!, 5th is Luna and Gaia.  They are all thumbnails so should get bigger if clicked.  My macro lens is so good it has even picked up all the dog & cat hairs and dust that I omitted to clean of them whilst photographing  OOOPS!

I have also made a little pendant with some of my Triton ones and I am testing ebay see if I get a nibble!!   So cheekily....I think this is the link if anyone is interested!!  http://shop.ebay.co.uk/jennie8789/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25

Hi Julie, can't believe the colours you've got I'm jealous!  I have been playing too, have some images on show and tell this week but have been experimeting with different clear and opaque bases heres a selection, it seems to change dramatically depending on the base, that little mink bead - base of chalcedony has a real pinky purple to the bumps that is lovely but doesnt really show in the photo and a single unincased bead a base of CIM Grumpy Bear that was quite pretty.

Can't wait to see more........Lets see them!!

I like the range of colours with Clio from dark to light, its really nice.

Here are some of mine

Large hole flower focal

A range of round beads of varying shades of pink

and a bicone which has a lovely peachy tone that doesen't really show up in the photo

Everyone is gifted, its just that some leave the wrapping on longer than others

Pure Clio, heavily reduced on the left, light reduction on the right:

Oh look, hello me!  :D

I have a couple of encased ones but just couldn't photograph them, Clio is one tricksy lady!

BTW, the BHB is only the second one I have ever attempted, I'm so chuffed with it!  ;D

Just posted these in Show and Tell but they are Clio so here they are again  :) Apologies if you have already seen them !

Sarah

There are some fantastic beads on here and a fabulous range of colours. I haven't tried my clio yet but this is one of the odd lots which it was based on.

Its a beautiful glass but a pain to photograph!
