Hello,

I have just been asked by a customer if I can put a gold core in a bead instead of a silver one for her gold Pandora bracelet.  I am pretty sure it would be easier than silver as gold is softer - would this be right?  The main problem I'm having is finding a supplier of gold tube.

Has anyone else gold-cored a bead and does anyone know a possible supplier?  I use a beadlining tool from RetroGlassTools and the dimensions of the silver I have been using is:
4.8mm/.190 O.Dia  .381mm/.015 Wall

I buy this from Metalliferous.com in the US as advised by Jerry from RetroGlassTools) but if anyone knows a UK supplier, I would prefer to stay as "local" as possible!

Any help with any of this would be greatly appreciated - many thanks.

I'm pretty sure Chamelon (Becky) has done this before yoy could pop her a PM?
