Just ordered a load of new glass so will need to organise some proper storage, but one that doesn't take up too much room

Can i see pictures of your glass stroage ideas?

Thanks!

Here's mine (I don't have much floor or desk space, so I stapled rows of "builder's tape" on the wall, rolled them up and voila, doesn't steal any space at all):

hmm, apologies for the mess - the glass is on the wall to the left  ::) ;D This was actually an adapted idea from Corina, who fixed rows of pipes on the wall. I think you can find her solution on her website.

ooo thats nice, except i don't have any wall space to use :(

i think i need something to put on top my table , either a trolley or someo sort of tube stack, but not quite sure how to do it!

I have plumbing pipe, cut to size, stacked in a huge cardboard box (used to be a cupboard) with the front cut out.  I'm sure there's quite an extensive thread somewhere with people's storage ideas.

Here's what I do. Cut plastic piping to 25cm lengths and then put it inside a plastic crate. The crates can then go on their side. They can also be moved easily. This is a dodgy pic but hopefully you get the idea.

Thats how I have mine too.

Shirley is that a commode you've got there, I can see how it would be handy if you needed to go in the middle of a particularly big bead.   ;D

commode? lol, no, it's a folding chair! I think what you imagine might be the commode bit is a table top that hinges up so you can put your sarnies on it!

And there I was thinking this was a refined forum ;) :D

I'm lucky to have a dad that is a joiner and he made me this. There is enough space to label each pidgeon hole so I know what I am using. It sits right next to my torch so I can grab different rods mid bead!

now helen that is exactly what i need, just about a quarter of the size!! Where on earth would i get one from though??

Helen G

You need to find a very friendly joiner, dad said it's a pain to make and would cost a fortune! Perhaps someone you know needs a project ??? Sorry can't help anymore.

princess pink

nope i don't know any joiners :(

I need to find a way to stick piping together me thinks, something that will keep it very sturdy- ideas on a postcard?
