Soz for being a total pain today...but hubby got all my bulk setup stuff before, his welding friend put all together for me, got my tank, then realised no connector for hothead...he has gone back out with the torch, hunting, but no luck so far..I have put one in my basket from tuffnells but before I order cos it may take a few days...does anyone know where else this little brass connection can be bought so I could get it today?????

You can try a plumbers merchant - you will need a 1 inch to metric propane adaptor. Rothenberger do one. Depends on the plumbers merchant though -  sometimes they have to order them in.
You just tell them you need to convert the 1 inch clockwise thread burner to a standard propane tapered fitting (I think this is 8mm).Costs around £9.

Have to say - by the time you've sourced all the bits yourself it costs around the same to buy the bulk propane adaptor kit from Martin (been there, done that!)  ;)

Thankyou Sal,

I just spoke to him he has sorted something out... Gawd knows what..lol, but I have to wait until tommorrow now, oh well I am learning lots of patience while setting this lot up ;)

Lucky in that it cost a lot less for me cos of DH's contacts, he got most of it for buttons, just this pesky connector that was causing probs, anyway hopefully now sorted.
