haha! thanks.
I wish I had alien brains....  :) Maybe I do....!

I used the 'Gold Sakura' murrini yesterday.... I`m a murrini virgin, but I think (hope!) this is how they are meant to look;

soulsilver

a new bracelet from me and a couple of focals. Been flamethrowing since Feb, last two weeks on a bobcat and oxycon.

I very rarely post here, but be assured that I am always in awe of the beads I see in S & T, yours are no exception Sam :)
The last S & T had some beautiful hollows on display, I've been working on mine too, first one is Reichenbach Antique clear with Triton.

This one is quite plain, a clear hollow, but with another bead inside (quite hard to photograph so pic not great). I've been trying to master this for a while & am glad I finally managed it!

Great beads, love the gold ball and the wine stopper, that flowers fab!  I have not been making too many this week, the tortouise shell are an order, and the set of lentil is me trying to make better bigger sets.

Maikki

Great beads here, thanks for sharing! I have made some goddesses again, they are comission. The silver glass in them is Psykhe, I think it is my current favorite silver glass!

Emma I love your implolded flower - absolutely stunning.

A boro silver cored and two boro sets (otherwise known as 'alien brains'.... !)

Lush!

Loads of wonderful beads here as always!  Love the Goddess Maikki, and I love the similar one you sent for my birthday  :-*  Clare ... oh Clare ... that bottom set is lipsmackingly gorgeous!

The fair season kicks off with GBUK this weekend and I've been deep in preparation mode.  I'm loving hearts!

and I've made a few simple heart pendants too

As usual a feast for the eyes!!! :o :o :o

Haven't posted for a while here so here's what i've been up to lately.

My first encounter with mica powders and I'm pleased with the effect. The second bead was just wrapped on the end of the mandrel so the hole goes in only half way. The dotty focal is my homework since having a lesson with Lorna and I'm practicing my dots with my shaky hand! The last set have 24k gold leaf in, boy does that stuff like to float away!!! Then encased so the gold won't scratch off.

Ooh Bev, I love them all! What a great set with the gold, and those pixie dust ones are lovely! I have a pot of that stuff, but I'm worried about using it because I heard it gets one everything - have any tips on that?

I finally have something to show, although they are much along the same theme as before (haven't got the seashore theme out of my system yet!)

Sorry for the hog ;D ;D ;D

You know how the more you make the higher your standards get?  I decided that it was time to re-organise my beads so this is what I did!

I tipped the beads onto the bed, mixed them up and got stuck in.  The pic makes it look small but there is actually thousands on beads there, all made by me!  It took a couple of hours but well worth a good sort out of some of my beads... still more to do.  I cleaned 4 ice cream tubs full last week and they still need sorting too....

Magpie

Well, I'm not sure 3 constitutes a hog, but it rhymes so....

Someone posted a frog tut a couple of weeks back, and as I've got a fish, a dog and a bunny on my BHB bracelet I thought I'd give a frog a go. Unfortunately/fortunately (delete as appropriate) the one that looked more like a demented lizard didn't survive being taken out of the kiln and dropped.

They've all got peculiar feet, legs, faces and expressions, and new homes (but the homes don't know it yet!).

Magpie

I don't often torch and post even less frequently, but I've had time to play recently so here's some pink and purple spotty beads....

Excellent start to the week - love the simplicity of the green pendant -a few from me including a huge focal ;D :o

and just for fun ;D ;D

sorry for the hog
