AAhhh breaking pliers, I didnt know such a thing existed, no more slashed fingers when breaking small bits then

the rubber coated metal ones are ones i normally use as they have a spring to make them easy to use and they dont scratch the glass, but i recently bought the cheaper plastic ones for small, fiddly bits

How were the plastic ones Steph?  Any better on fiddly bits?

yeah, they were better. they have a raised plastic line which runs along the cut & works better than the rubberised ones. they have a C shape which works well for bigger pieces but not on tiny ones. they were worth the ?3 or whatever they were. tho i wish they had a spring...
