Yup, out of all of them Mulberry and twilight and maybe Caribbean, but also not wild about them.

Yuck.  All the yellows look pretty pukesome to me.  I rather fancy trying the midnight though.

I'm not really grabbed - mulberry looks a bit close to plum (actually, most of them are a bit close to something). The ones that are different don't really strike me as colours that I need, you know? For caribbean I have a number of shades of light transparent blue already, and while I'm sure twilight will be pretty etched, it doesn't yell to be bought.

That said, if the transparents went into standard production and were cheaper colours, I'm sure I'd try them eventually...

Technically there are only about 7 or 8 colours everything else is a variation or combination, I wonder Is it possible to mix colours of glass by combining? I'm sure it must be possible with some glasses, though most of my attempts result in poo.

I often mix a glass colour if I can't find the shade I want, it's just a case of patience.  Some people use the rods, but I've found it easier to use two bare mandrels, one with the gather on and the other for the pulling and mixing.  You just have to make sure that you make enough the first time, as it's really difficult to recreate exactly.  However, since I bought my nippers, I've taken to measuring and nipping what I might need so that it is easier to get near it again.
