can someone help with my implosion please

Ok, I have made a few, some better than others, really like doing them, but I can't get the layers properly done, I've posted a pic so you can see what I mean. I seem to have a bottom layer of dots then cant get the rows the way Sal has them in her tut. Help :)I dont think the blue long stretches at the sides are there IRL.

Well they don't look at all bad Jeannie. Are you referring to the amount of dots you want it there? I use a ring of six or seven around the mandrel at the centre of the bead and then I reckon I have about four or five rings of dots extending out to the outer edge of the disc. I would think that by the time I had finished there are at least fifty dots on there.

If you are referring to the fact that the "fingers" don't travel up to the top of the bead then that is just a question of making the disc very very thin, as thin as you can get it. Which is just PPP, I'm afraid.

Oh thanks Sal! I hoped you would answer. 
Yep, I did about 3 rings of dots at the very most and they were pretty higglety piggelty! Not nearly 50 dots maybe more like 20? They tend to stick together a bit, I think I need to practice this bit, they're at a different angle for me as I've only done dots on the edges not the middle so they seem to get a bit muddled if you see what I mean. I will work on that.
So they travel up more the thinner the disc is. Okay, I will work on that too. 
I really enjoyed making them and was surprised at how well I did on the first ones as i had always thought they would be way too difficult for me but am pleased with myself for giving them a go.
