Nuggets ???

Hi,
Newbie here. I love the look of 'off' beads - nuggety - If you know what I mean, but how do you make them look like they are supposed to be nuggets without looking like you just can't make a round bead!
Any tips gratefully received.

you mak a round bead or a barrel shaped bead and then using the marver flatten random areas .....it takes a bit of getting it right to make it look right, but it is pretty simple once you get the hang of it

Just play like Sarah said..you'll soon develop your own style and find a way that suits you....they are free form after all!...have fun....

I found them hard to do at first - make a fairly even round, or an olive or barrel, warm one side and press against marver 3 or four times, warm other side and press in between the other pressings, (then randomly around the equator if you want). Don't press too soon or it will all go scewwiff ( Hmm, didn't know I didn't know how to spell that! )
