I'm trying to find a "proper" orange colour... Any ideas? I have Effetre Carrot Red, which looks kinda orangey, but is a bit too red (duh  ::)), and a Reichanbach Orange (Iris, I think), but that doesn't seem to like me much... Any other suggestions? I just want something sunny/bright!

Isn't there a bright orange CIM colour - "Clockwork" I think?

Dragonfire Glass

normal effetre orange - both opaque and transparent striking, tangerine sparkle?

Mand

Trudi posted some tangerine sparkle beads a while back, they were gorgeous.  I tried to track some of that glass down but had no luck.  Lovely colour!

Trudi

tangerine sparkle is gorgeous - I got mine from Sooz, but I think that she may have sold the last that she had. Q used to sell it but I think it may have been an "odd lot".

The CiM Clockwork is certaily orange alright!

Dragonfire Glass

clockwork is almost luminous!

I love clockwork. Gorgeous colour.

Tangerine sparkle is something of a rarity now, I think. It was one of the Vetrfond odd lots and I've not seen any for sale for a bit.

I've got a very orange one which is just an effetre one, coral also gives a good orange colour if you want a darker orange rather than a bright one.  Clockwork is gorgeous.

Oops - I had 3 rods of Clockwork in front of me when I sat down at the torch, and somehow didn't notice them... Possibly a good time to clean my glasses!  ;D Thanks everyone :)

Trudi

LOL - how on earth can you miss them?

misspixie

lol! I dunno, but it's impressive... I think I must have been so busy looking for a solid colour rather than a transparent that I completely missed it!

Mand

Did you not see it glowing in the dark?! :o ;)

I also like 9312 opaque orange by Ornela (Czech glass).
