Right I need serious help (in more ways than one!).
I need to make some black and white beads, and im having a beeeeyatch of a time making them.
Everything I try is bleeding. Ive tried normal black effetre, but as we know thats actually purple, Intense black, and Hades. All tried with both normal effetre white and anice white. None of the combos are any good! Grrrrrrrrr! >:(
Anyone got any pics of black and white beads with no bleeding??
Anyone willing to let me know their secrets? Pleeeeeese!
I dont want to buy anymore glass unless I know its guaranteed to work.
Thanks people

Hades and Peace bleeds and spreads if over heated Effetre black and white works for me just dont over heat - Dont use anise white though as that has an organic side to it too .
Not very helpful but i used the effetre balck and white today with no problems.

Whoops realised its Vetro black I have !

Vicki

these are vetro black & effetre white, I think i used intense to dot the flowers on, but I can't remember for sure, no bleeding from either anyway :)

Josephine

I posted a black n white bracelet pic a couple of days ago with vetro black and effetre white - but I've just got some Hades and Peace today, I just had time to try one bead today - didn't notice any bleeding but I think my silver wire went brown and orrible on the Peace  :(

I made a twisty with hades and black and then melted it in (lightly) onto a peace base and it didn't bleed.
I might have a rod of each in my car that might take a detour to Necton on the way home this afternoon! ;D

vetro black is a true black, and will not bleed or react... this can be good and bad i guess!  ;D ;D

hades is good, but a bit more pricey, and the very best will always be nero intense black hand made effetre - but it is the most expensive too...

What I have found is that if the base is black you'll have less bleeding than using a white base.
I had to make a set of beads with dots and stripes and the black based beads worked the best, what you also can do is make a white core encase this with clear and then put a black decoration on it. ;D
