No, you reduce Nyx but burn and strike Terra (ie get very hot till goes like clear soup, then cool quickly and reheat gently) - - unless you mean, would you roll in it? And then... well, its probably less painful than shards!

yes, but you'd need to go and sit by a very hot fire, then jump into an ice cold river to really make it come to life.
