It has pleasant striations but looks a sort of pale greeny beige in the one bead I made - I tried striking, reducing and encasing -not very inspiring!  Just wondered if anyone else has managed to get something different from it  :-\

Please excuse my ignorance but what is Silverglass #4 ?

Shirley

I've not got any but I did read a thread about the Effetre silverglasses on LampworkEtc. a while back. Apparently people were making the mistake of using it like Double Helix. It isn't that sort of silver glass. It is more like some of the Kugler/Ask colours that react with other glasses rather than giving great effects themselves.

Patti Frantz wrote a bit about it, have a look on the Frantz website, she has working instructions somewhere for each one.

Thanks!  Will have a look.

Effetre Silverglass - I think they have #1-6.  Got some from Tuffnells at FO.  ;D

Well, I can't find anything about it - I will have a look later when I have more time - need to make screens for demo's - honestly, my skill-set has expanded enormously since taking up lampworking!  ;D
