Hi all,
well I got my reichenbach although I was too late for the iris orange, sob.  I done a bit of encasing yesterday with the clear which is beautiful to work with and very well,  clear... They're all cracked in a fairly major way this morning. ANyone else tried this?  I annealed them in my moretti programme straight from the torch and they looked great last night when they came out, but, alas, they're all done for.  COuld it be an annealing thing?  They were just the clear over opaque turq moretti.  ANyone have any ideas?

It could be much worse, but... it could also be much, much better...

Oh no! :-( have you tried encasing anything else to see if there is any difference?

Those threads are intersting, thanks for the link. I wonder if this clear is the reformulated one?  I will try again today just in case I got mixed up and picked up some Lauscha by accident.  I really liked the clear to work with, probably more than any other I've tried and it came out really beautiful and clear, I made 3 beads and so far only 2 have cracked so I might have picked up the wrong one in the chaos of my workshop.   ::)
