Hello lovely people, I'm hoping that someone will have the answer to this. I have recently had several beads crack. I've never had any problems like this before and I am pretty sure that they are compatability issues. I even reheated one of the beads, healed the cracks and when it came out of the kiln it had cracked again. The only common factor is that all the beads had Reichenbach White as the core. Some were encased with 006 others with Eff turquoise, Aqua and Cobalt. Is this a known problem? I only bought the R. White as Tuffnell were out of Eff at the time.

Thanks for any help you can give - I have stopped using the R. White for now.

I stopped using mine too as I had similar problems and that was just with rubino encased white stringer. Not sure why it might do that. I kind of thought maybe they had been sent the 94 +/-2 by mistake but had never followed it up - thinking I would just use it with the Reichenbach frit at some point!

Sorry you have both had the problem too, but at least it confirms my feelings. It would make sense if it was the 94. I think I will just put it away and buy some effetre.

Thanks a lot.
