I have a bead cube with a bead rack and have been making a lot of cabs ring tops and buttons lately. I am having trouble balancing the mandrels on the rack as they're at the end of the mandrel so cant poke the end of the end of the mandrel into the holes like i usually do. When  i'm putting a new mandrel in the others are tending to slide  back out. Anyone have this problem. I thought of taking the rack out and resting them on the bottom  but like the rack as it helps the beads not to stick together. It's not the quantity that's the problem, more the balance of the mandrel . Wonder if Lee could design another rack for cabs etc, kidding but you never can tell. Anyone else have this problem.

I haven't got the proper rack for mine - I use the kiln prop (oblong thingy). You could use that and put it in a bit from the back of the kiln so your mandrels rest on it and your cabs hang down behind it? They won't be able to fall out, anyway.

mine used to slide, i put a tine spacer on tne mandrel and hook that on the rack so the cab doesnt slide.
