Wizard tricks with effetre glass?

I had a thought today (ouch, yes I know!).

Why not start a thread about what unexpected colour combinations or effects can be achieved from bog standard effetre glass?
(none of this fancy-shmancy DH stuff - tried that and I'm so utterly rubbish with it that I won't bore you!  )

I know about the faux boro trick .  Are there any others you've discovered and are willing to share?  I remember a while back Kaz posted some stunners using tuxedo? and a blue?

Sorry,    I didn't mean colour combos together as say lime green and coralm or dirty martini and ivory, I meant effetre colours where you get an unexpected but pleasing reaction?  Does that make sense? I'm not always good at explaining myself very well.......

I always like transparent aqua melted into ivory, which is an Effetre reaction. But are we talking just Effetre - isn't Tuxedo a CIM colour?

No not at all!    I did think "what about CIM" as I typed the original posting, but thought "oh it's 104 anyway so it's "effetre"" but it's not really is it?  Nothing wrong with a being a pedant
