Has  anyone else had trouble with CIM's cranberry pink from Tuffnells?   It's cracked on every single one of the beads where I've used it thinly over Effetre white.  I noticed it had been reduced in price, although still very expensive.  Maybe that's why -  but  shouldn't it be the same c.o.e. as the others?

I couldn't get it to encase without racking. I don't think it likes clear or white  :D. Mine wasn't from Martin though.

Will it work over peace? What about encasing with CIM clear? I've got some and not tried it at all. Might have a play.

I haven't noticed any problems but I tend to use it over Effetre pale pink or periwinkle rather than white

I have always found CIM Clear to be the most "crackable" of clears?

Pam

Definitely better over peace although one did crack.

Strangely, every rubino/cranberry bead I have made over the past couple of weeks has cracked, some encased some just swirled through, isn't that odd? I have used Effetre and Bullseye and had the same problem, different bases and different clears too?

Trudi

have you all been good to your kiln faries ...... I'm worried about my pink lacey beads now .......... they were made with rubino, but I've not had a problem encasing it before!

I haven't either Trudi, thats what makes it so odd.
