Hello,

Yes it's 104 so compatible with all your effetre and other 104.

This is a link to a great (free) Double Helix Luna2 tutorial which explaines the striking process  :) You don't need a degree  :D just a bit of time and patience and be prepared to spend a few hours and a few quid initially getting to grips with it. There are other tutorials around too if you want a short cut to getting to grips with it although non I could personally recommend as I haven't bought any of them, but a few others on here may have so they might be able to say if they're worth it or not.

I would personally recommend starting with the reducing range, Triton and Aurae are particularly easy to use and give beautiful effects.

It is beautiful but it's very addictive and quite expensive so be warned  :D  :D

i am unsure of the reducing as well , so i will have a look on the link as i seem to be running before i can walk, but thats me all over picking the expensive and not so easy stuff to begin with.  :P :P

Ohh thanks for the link Kate - I'd not seen that before!

An easy glass to try out is Aurae - it does a lot of the work by itself. It strikes easily - ie if you're making a bead let it cool (while you're shaping) and as you introduce it to the flame it will start to change. It can also be reduced and only needs a slight reduction flame to go. Looks shiney un-encased (goldy/pink) and MOP when encased.

Hope that helps!

I wrote this ages ago, there are a load of new ones since then, and it was before Terra, Luna and the other strikers. But it might still help.
