Ok... So, as a very nice compromise between me, mother, and sister, we have recently purchased an evenheat kiln - The other two both do lots of silver-clay work, and the kiln comes ready programmed for that - I'm planning on using it for annealing, and maybe a lil fusing, as well as some enamelling for uni and a few other bits... Thats fine... But has anyone else used one before? I haven't managed to get my hands on it yet, due to still being at uni, but would like to be able to get it out of the box and have a play when I get back home this weekend! I know it's programmable, but I'm looking for an annealing cycle to use with it...

I don't have any of the technical details here, so I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark.. But... Suggetsions anyone? I'll be honest, I haven't got a clue what I'm doing!!

I'll have to pass that over to one of our evenheat users of the forum. Sorry

I use an evenheat with a bentrup controller. What size is your new kiln?

I'll have to get the details from home - this whole being at uni thing really gets in the way some days!! I know that we went for one without a bead door, and it has a built in controller - other than that, I haven't a clue til I get my hands on the info in the box.... Roll on Friday!!

My big Potterycraft kiln has a Bentrup controller - do you need help in using the controller or do you need an actual anneal program? My Bentrup is really easy to use so I can talk you through it if its the same as mine....
