Faux boro effects

I have been using iris gold melted onto straw yellow and swirled onto turquoise or sometime now to get wonderful faux boro effects.  But today I was wondering are there any other recipes to produce other colour effects?

Can anyone give me any tips please?

I find that it makes a big difference if you change the relative proportions of straw yellow to iris gold. I tend to use about 2/3 Straw to 1/3 Iris Gold and I often play around with how I mix them up. Personally I haven't had a huge amount of joy using it over different colours but I always encase it with clear.

I read somewhere that a mix of Cim Hades, silver foil and CiM mojito produces faux boro. I was so excited that I tried it. I did get hints of the lovely blue-green opaque streakiness but the rest was as the recipe hints-a mess of black and trans olive green which wasnt nice at all. If you do try this and have some success, I'd love to know the proportions that work.
