Well, I've almost settled into my lovely new workshop, but the cats are getting distinctly fed up of the fan exhaust being shoved through their cat-flap :o, so I figured it was maybe time to plumb the fan in permanently and put the exhaust vent through the wall.  (Besides which I'm getting fed up of tripping over the yards of aluminium ducting trailing everywhere ... )

Sorting the inside ducting is easy but I'm trying to find a louvre type vent cover (I think) to fit on the outside.  There's a few options online but I wondered what other people have done to make their fan outlets both weatherproof and bugproof (not spider-phobic but could do without too many lodgers!)

Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully received - both by me and the mogs!

I got mine from the local DIY shop, it was only a few pounds.  It's the 3 flap kind as well. The one I had before (different size) wa flat against the wall so I had to seal it with mastic but it had a mesh inside so the spiders couldn't get in.
