I came across this and thought it might be useful for clear glass you have problems with.

Hmmm who was it that said life was too short to stuff a mushroom? I find my standard glass cleaner and kitchen roll works pretty well and I really don't like dirty glass

Well, apart from being smug because boro clear isn't generally anywhere near as scummy (but then, it is a while since I've seen soft clear look as scummy as they've got it!), I thought that was what armpits were for

I have to say glasscleaner works for me, just thought it might be useful if you have some 004, or ever get a "badbatch" .....

Armpits for me too (but I'm a slob).
I actually found that quite interesting - might give it a go.
I've been using scummy 004 quite a lot in my chandelier project (no, it's not finished yet!). I find that if you take your time with the really scummy glass you can in fact keep it as clean as a whistle. Of course - who's got the time for that!?

Seriously that sounds like a whole load of effort for the sake of non scummy glass when there are much quicker ways around it.

Armpits and sleeves, please ladies be sophisticated I have a microfibre cloth to wipe my glass with.

A different story for you Sal, that's a whole heap of glass, so yeah for a kilo or more it's probably worth it. (side note don't we get to see WiP pics?)

Long and the short of it, nah I can't be bothered to bathe my glass.

Surely any form of acid will get shot of greasiness? Vinegar, lemon juice, spit and armpits?
