Mine are on my creation station or hovering just above it, i tend to rest my wrists on the top bits of the crreations stations arms

I'd love mine to be on my creation station, but my boobs get in the way . So they hover a little above - I use the wrist rests though. When I have a proper, permanent place to work, I'll build up some proper elbow rests too.

As for the person who said to lift your elbow high? grrrr. In fact I was told by my physio that working with you elbows too high can lead to shoulder problems (which I have recently discovered isn't pleasant!).

My left elbow (holding mandrel) is in the air. My right elbow rests on the back of a chair most of the time, especially when doing dots!!! Oh, and now I think about it, I swap the mandrel to my right hand and use the chair back to support my elbow when I'm melting the "Catherine Wheel" into a bead shape too.
I bet everyone who's read this has ended up at their computer waving their arms around pretending to make a bead - it's the sort of thing you don't really notice until someone asks!!

My elbows are on the bench, leaning on a pair of old bed socks.  I did once get a snotty note from somebody on etsy, after I posted a want ad for elbow pads - she said I was wrong to rest my elbows, they should be in the air!  Naughty elbows 

How flippin rude!! - perhaps you should tell them how to use the beads!!

My torch is on an old kitchen unit in the shed - (ahem .. studio!) and due to the height I soon bought a creation station - best thing. I know it might seem a lot to spend – but when you think of how much time you'll use it, it is money well spent!

Mine are now on my Creation Station....since last week when it arrived and I LOVE it. Didn't take any getting used to, it felt right straight away, it fantastic.

Does anybody know of anywhere that sells - or could make - just the wrist rest part of a creation station?

My torch is already mounted in my work bench, rather than clamped to the edge, as my porch is quite narrow, but I've been getting shoulder and back ache and I think the wrist rests would be perfect.

How about the wrist supports for computers ( from somewhere like PC World for example) I have a mouse mat with a gel pad which should work. (Hadn't thought of using it on my Creation Station until now though!)

The gel pad on my mouse mat is about .75 of an inch thick, so it's thicker than the Creation station elbow rest, thinking about it a bit more, I'm not sure how you could use it as a wrist rest - unless it was on some sort of block - getting a bit too technical for me here!!!
