Why do they make that really exotic pattern seen on the recent 'angel' baed, and Les's beads?
Why don't you just get a chunk of glass, sort of a blob, or large fritty chunk?

A lot of shards are made of reactive glass or swirls of different colours. And it is a good idea to lightly coat the bead with a little enamel and then add the shard so the enamel heats up and comes through the shard in places. The shards are very thin. I bought some really nice ones from Avenue beads on Etsy.

some reason I was thinking plain colours, hadn't given a thought to multi coloured shards, makes more sense now. Thanks
