I'm a bit confuddled about this one...from what I've seen, it needs an oxygen rich flame to bring out the rainbow colours, but it can also be reduced to make it silver  ???

And how can I get an oxygen rich flame with my HH?

I hope I'm right in saying, you can't. You're constantly working in a slightly reducing flame with a HH, which can be increased by covering the holes on the torch. My experince of working with colours like light silver plum is that if I work them too long they reduce to that silvery colour, I have been able to avoid it with smaller beads.

I can't see how you can increase the proportion of oxygen to propane enough to create an oxygen rich flame with a HH.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can't get oxy rich on your HH, but HH's are great for silver plum! In a normal flame, just roll it in the cooler part of the flame (too hot and you'll melt your finish). Have a play!
