lead glass

i have just had some  lead glass  from checkglass.com,
anyone else used it??  it is very soft...really really soft, drip off the mandrel soft 
pretty though,
i also had some tourmaline pink striking glass from them, the rod is pale pink transparent, when i heat it i get a mirror finish, not pretty!
it should be a fuchsia pink, any tips?

Hiya, I've not used that glass but it sounds like the pink is similar to Rubino Oro.  Make sure you don't have even the slightest bit of a reduction flame or you'll get the metallic effect and black spots in your beads.  Let us know how you get on with the glass though hun.

ooopps! i am on a hothead so i have a slightly ruducing flame anyway 
will play some more if i dont have better luck it may be time for another competition !!
