I'm looking to buy some presses but I am not sure which of these 2 presses are easier to use. Does anyone have both presses. Or if you have used both what are your experiences.

Thanks.

I'll tell you an instant difference, the Kalera isn't square. You'd want the Kalera nugget for that. I think the Cattwalk one is a bit slimmer depth too.
I have the Zoozii nugget trio and it's lovely. I've not used that Cattwalk one, but I've used their puffy pillow, and the Zoozii pillow, and the nugget is much the easiest to use. There is a tiny ribbed texture to the Zoozii that seems to help the glass flow right to the corners.

I have the cattwalk sleek pillow - it took a while to get used to but was one of my first presses. I really like the shape 'though I haven't used it for a while.

I also have a couple of the zoozii kalera focals which I also like. These weren't so difficult for me to get used to but I had more experience of presses by then so it could just be that.

Sorry - I'm probably not being very helpful.

are the measurements the same? I think its just if you like the pins or the base...personal choice i guess :)

If it's got a hole, it's a bead !

Hey Pam,

I just bought a Kalera Trio from Zooziis, shall i send you some sample beads like i did last weekend for you when it arrives?

Pam

Thanks for your comments, Anna kindly let me have a go on the sleek pillow (I have the puffy pillow and not much of a fan really ) I love the general shape but the zooziis Kalera looks deeper to me but I may be wrong.
Anna if you could do some plain beads so I can get my head around this I would be very grateful  ;D

Shirley

I love the Kalera trio. The largest of the three is about 10mm deep. The others seem to be a different proportion, but make nice fine beads.

I have recently bought this - I emailed them in english, and they were very helpful and the press came quickly. I think it's lovely quality too.. don't know how well it compares?

They do a square as well. The pillows are fairly shallow, and you can get a nice 'sharp' edge.
