Yesterday I spent some time with Jo Turner Rowe on a short course in bead making. I was very impressed with both Jo's skills and teaching ability.
In the three hours I spent with her I learnt more than I could of at home just fumberling my way around how the different glasses react with one another.
This was my primary reason to do the course as I had no experiance of how the different glasses react with each other
I already had some experiance of making what Jo described as minute beads - I used to make lacemakers bobbins and also made a small number of the "square cuts beads" that go on the bobbins.
It took a while to get used to working with a much larger globule of molten glass but with Jo's help and tuition it all went well.
If anyone is looking to learn more then I can recomend Jo 100/%

Thanks Barry, you made some smashing beads - it was a lot of fun and you were a model student!  ;D ;D
