I thought I'd give this forum another poke, to see if it stirs!
Here's my latest; made from Vetrofond Green Olive. All these colours come from different treatments of the glass - heating less, more, reducing a bit. You can see where I overcooked one a bit and got copper red!

greetings from France! Love the colours you got from that glass and the necklace design. Hope to see you at flame off Hx
Now I can play all day as I retired from the 'proper' job....

Thanks, Helen! I hope you're settling in happily. I have my FO ticket for Friday  :) x

Any idea why the forum has gone so quiet? My reason is I took a break from lampworking as I'd lost my mojo. I'm heading to my shed today and if I haven't forgotten everything, will do my best to post the results.

Think a lot of people have migrated to many different facebook pages, shame, I love this little forum and keep looking in just to see what might be going on. I'm setting up my new studio in France, months away from the torch, I even brought a UK propane tank so I can torch asap without waiting for conversions as fittings are different here. Will try to post photos of the studio when its done if I can, that might be a reason its so quiet here, its hard to add photos but dead easy on facebook...

Those colours are lovely. I check in from time to time but am spending more and more time doing fusing and casting now, so facebook is better for those 'conversations' and agree it's so much easier to add photos.  I might get my torch out tomorrow though and make the most of a bank holiday weekend free of work. Look forward to seeing your studio Helen, hope you are settling in  x

Afraid I have nothing to post yet as the large glob of glass I was attempting a jellyfish in fired off the cold tack punty onto me and burnt through my apron, jumper and T shirt. Luckily not a mark on me but boy did I move :o
I'll try again next weekend once I've lined my new apron with a fire blanket
