Hi everyone.  You are probably aware that there is some confusion at the moment about selling tutorials on line, and the rules are apparently being changed in January 2015.  I will be discontinuing the sale of my 'Silver Glass for Beginners' tutorial in my Etsy shop until the rules are changed for small businesses, that's if they ever are.  In the meantime I've reduced the price from £15 to £10, so if you have ever thought about buying it, now is the time.  I will leave it in the shop until the date in January when the new rules come into force.

This is the review that one of my lovely customers wrote after using the tutorial....needless to say I was thrilled to read it:
'Great resource for beginners trying to learn the whims of silver glass. Clear instructions, clear, uncluttered photos, simple beads, but with such lovely results. She sticks to basic beads and three kinds of silver glass - Double Helix Triton, Cleo & Helios. I liked that the author didn't impose her own style, or expect you to master elaborate, fussy, techniques on huge intricate focals. It's all about the silver glass properties, and she gives you enough basic experience to take it whatever direction your individual taste and skills lead you. I've purchased 5 or 6 different tutorials on silver glass, and this is by far my favorite!'

Here's the link...thank you in advance to anyone that has a look, or even better, buys a copy!

For anyone thinking of buying this, I'd say go for it. It's really well written with lots of photos.

It really does help you get the colours and for me, well worth the money even without discount!

Thank you, I have just bought this and it is already in my inbox great service- downloading now and looking forward to reading it.

Hartofglass

Thanks. I just bought that too!  It's great timing as I've just received a mixed lot of double helix from Tuffnell's. Just off to download it.

Thank you Hartofglass and Sangemarie!  Hope you enjoy the tutorial and make some great beads over the holiday.

This tutorial took away the fear of silver glass for me. I had bought some ages ago but wouldn't use it for fear of "WASTING" it.  I wish you would write one for the other DH  glasses but given the VAT problems that is not likely to happen.

Thank you Ruth...I'm really glad to hear that the tutorial let you cross that 'fear threshold' that a lot of people seem to have with silver glass.

I'm hoping that under pressure the powers that be eventually see sense and start operating a threshold system for small businesses.  Let's see what happens.
