What is the difference between saw cut and machine cut rings please?

I might be wrong but I think in general saw cut gives you a much neater/flusher join.

I'd agree with Kay - hand cut are the very best (but I would say that Wink).

Machine cut are no use at all - you much as well just run a pair of old side cutters down a coil and not bother tidying up the edges.
