Hello

I am useless when it comes to programming the kiln.... I was just wondering if the bead cube already has a fusing programme installed before I go playing around with it?

Thanks :D

Mine didn't: came with garage and batch programs for beads, no fusing.

I have a bead cube and have to get to grips with programming it following Bronwen's course at Tuffnells...I found this invaluable and I think I have cracked mine...take a deep breath and go for it x http://www.creativeglassguild.co.uk/uploads/guide/KCR1%20Handbook_2.pdf  Good Luck :)

My beadcube controller doubles on my top loader so does casting, fusing, slumping...everything!

Remember when fusing in the beadcube itself that there will be a noticeable difference between the front and back of the kiln too.

Ahh, Thank you very much for you advise and ill take a good look at this maual :S ekkk

The best thing is to write out your programme fully before you start pushing buttons.

Rate -> Temp -> Soak (Even if zero) For each step, this is a good habit to get into as if you need to alter any stages you will see what needs changing and why.

Ah Rachel, it is his age, the KCR1 will not be able ro do anymore than it does at present, we were looking at any possible improvements as they have been out for a while now.
