ok newby question - why buy commercial stringers?
Please don't shout me down in flames, just wondering... for the sake of speed and convenience?

Came with my basic kit if I remember rightly.

Just found these really cute little vases in IKEA - they might make good colour coded stringer storage!

Those little jars are lovely, what a good idea re the colour coding, and they're so cheap as well!

Why would we do that?   ???   ;)

Commercial stringers are especially made for us nupties who can't pull evenly sized ones.  (i.e. me).

And I always but intense black in stringers.

And they are pretty!   ;D

Test tubes in a stand (unlabelled).  I work at a Secondary School as their permanent supply teacher.  The Science dept is brill.  I use a test tube holder/clamp as a short rod clamp - end up with just 1cm of rod that I chuck in a pot.  All free of course  ;)
