Sales boards reorganisation

In response to changes in how we all sell these days, the sales boards have been moved around a bit to make things easier for everyone.

All commercial (ie supplier) sales - glass, tools, equipment etc should be in the "buying needs" section http://www.frit-happens.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=32.0

Personal sales are now divided very simply into:

Shameless self-promotion

  • For all bead, jewellery, fused or other finished pieces - ie announcements of anything you've listed on a website or other selling platform, including etsy, ebay, folksy, artfire and anywhere else you can find as well as physical locations such as galleries or shops. As always, please try not to list too many separate threads - consider editing an existing thread if you've already got one in there. Posts will be removed after a month.

Classified ads

  • Got something to sell? Second hand tools, glass, equipment, other interesting things all go here. Please read the guidelines about personal sales, and it's a big help if sold items are either removed or marked as sold. Again, posts will be removed after a month

Websites and other selling platforms

  • No sales announcements here please. This is the place for links, lists and questions about your own websites and others, including etsy, ebay etc

Bead, Fair and Jewellery Party Events

  • Questions and announcements. Past events will be removed.

If you're not sure where to put something, just ask a mod. Posts in the wrong places may well be moved to the right section but will still show up in unread post lists.
