How do you fix your Tuffnell's extraction hood in place?

I'm looking at upgrading my ventilation system in my shedio and was hoping for some advice. Currently I'm using a bog standard hob extractor that vents out through the shed wall, but I have my doubts about how effective it is. It doesn't seem to have a lot of 'umph'.

I saw the Tuffnell's system in action at Flame Off, but can't remember how the hood fits above/behind the torch. Any advice/photos of the set up in action would be appreciated!

Thanks,

My set up is less than perfect as I have to take mine down each time.  I balance it on an old earthenware jar and a couple of old books.  I'm going to invest in some incense sticks after reading another post and test its working efficiently this way.  Good luck.

I haven't tested mine as I only got it just recently but I had to fix the fan to the wall (it's really light so that was no problem) and I have the hood end propped up on brics. I've got the ducting a bit bent around so I hope that's not reducing the efficiency but when I put my hand to the back end of the hood I can feel air movement on my skin. It's not quite the stripper/nipple scenario described in a previous post though lol.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not going to get anything new just yet as the recent bad weather has shown my shedio itself is in a bit of a precarious state (bits of roof all over the garden :P) so I think I might have to invest in a whole new building next year (expensive but exciting!). Look out for lots of 'How did you build yours' posts.....
