So my Pyrex collection is vintage!  Perhaps I shouldn't be using some of it in the kiln to batch anneal beads :)  Interesting read.

I've one of the rectangular dishes that sits in a nightlight heater thingy, great for keeping the roasties warm for sunday lunch.  My mum said it was all the rage in the 50s!

I didn't know Pyrex was so collectible either!

:D Just found this, in case anyone is thinking of starting a collection, it is a very pretty colour!

I regularly use a set of Pyrex dinner plates, tea plates and a casserole dish I was given way back in 1986.... thought they were quite old fashioned when I was given them, and they hid at the back of the cupboard, but I tend to use these ones the most now...

Chelsea pattern, rather too many listed on Ebay to make them valuable though!

Good heavens, that's my tatties warmer, only mine's cream and has thegold metal nightlight stand.  Perhaps I won't sell the husband, I'll sell the Pyrex.  I will look at stacks of it in the charity shops with a different light!
