That's beautiful and I'd love to see it in other colourways too.

That's fabulous!  What red did you use, I find most reds i use look washed out. I am sure you'll enjoy the lessons  ;D

Wow, thanks guys - tbh the photo probably does it some favours. There's a lot of air trapped, and the petals aren't in the right places, but it's along the right lines, and I'm semi-pleased, given I've not made a marble in ages. No pictures of the back - it's rubbish!

Some of us might be put very firmly in the shade, if we were to go.  :)

You're funny. I doubt anything like that's going to happen. I quite expect to be put firmly in place by some of the rather marvellous Euro-lampworkers we never hear about...

I think it's Momka Carmen Red, the black is TAG Knight Rider.

Thanks for looking, everyone. I'm off for a week of Hot Shop now... ;D

Cool Marble Sean see you at the Kobuki workshop  ;)

Oooooh, I'd love to meet Marcel  :) :)

I think you are underselling that marble, though. It looks very marvellous - and the Carmen Red seems to be working very nicely encased, which isn't something that can be said of all boro opaque reds.

Enjoy the hot shop  :)

Lilley

Lovely marble!   :)  I hope you are enjoying the course (I'm a delicate shade of green) and that you will take loads of pictures  :)
Glass - lampworked, blown, kilncast or fused and slumped, it's all good!

Thank you!
