I like multicolour too, not quite so bright as yours though Kaz, something to aim for. That is one beautiful bead.  Smiley

That's a beautiful bead! Lovely colours Smiley

I wonder, does the black do anything special for the multicolour, or would other colours work too?

Gorgeous colours, Kaz.   Smiley  Do you strike it until it goes brown before you encase it (a bit like Raku), or just encase as it is?

Just encase it - no need to strike before as the hot clear glass does part of the striking and the rest happens in the kiln by way of magic!

multicolour? multicolour dark surely? confused, people mention multicolour, post title is dark?

love the dark one, though the 2nd batch I have is soooo much darker than the old one, dont like it as much.

the only time I can get multicolour non dark to do anything but green is on bunny feet when I want it to be green!

and it is a lovely bead Kaz!

(oh, and the bunnies on my FB were the old batch of MCD, I made one in the new batch and hes much darker, quite different to those)
