For some time I have been saving my pennies and looking around for a kiln.  Living on an Island usually adds more costs on for delivery and there is nowhere locally to go and have a look at kilns.

I would like a kiln to anneal my beadies, I thought probably one with a bead door would be best, but I would also like to do some fusing.  I keep getting drawn to the SC2 with a bead door as it appears to do everything I want.  But this is all new to me and what do I know?  If you have a bead door does this effect glass fusing?

If anyone has any recommendations or advice before I buy anything it would be appreciated as it is such a big expense?

Thanks
mel

Dont be sorry, we all need to ask questions, there is so much to learn and there are a lot of big expenditures. Good luck with it

Hi there

I dont know how to do the link thing.  Look under Kiln Doctor on Technical and there is a thread "Help have I made a Mistake".  Lots of useful info.

Hope it helps.
